WordPress integration

Add an AI chatbot to WordPress.
Keep your website.

Train SimpleBot on approved business content, configure useful next-step buttons, and install the finished assistant without editing your theme.

Grounded business answers

Retrieve from the documents you approve while keeping internal source details out of the visitor chat.

Useful next steps

Offer Conversation Starters, contextual follow-up buttons, booking intake, Calendly handoff, and consented human support.

Connected capabilities

Use approved MCP tools while verified-email rules protect customer-specific information.

WordPress setup

From trained bot to live widget in five steps.

You need access to the SimpleBot dashboard and a WordPress administrator who can install a plugin.

  1. 01

    Create and train your bot

Open the SimpleBot dashboard, create a bot, add focused source documents under Knowledge, and wait for every source to show ready.

  2. 02

    Test the important questions

Use Preview to check common questions, conversation starters, contextual replies, bookings, and human support.

  3. 03

    Open Embed Bot

Open the bot’s Embed Bot section early in setup and download the unified plugin. Each bot supports up to two connected domains.

  4. 04

    Install the WordPress plugin

Download version 0.5.22, then use Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. After activation, WordPress opens the SimpleBot setup page automatically. The plugin requests a cache purge after activation and connection; if the launcher is missing or outdated, clear the WordPress, host, and CDN caches.

  5. 05

Sign in and choose the bot

Select Sign in and choose a bot. After signing in to SimpleBot, select the corresponding bot, review the WordPress and WooCommerce access, and approve the website. Safe read-only capabilities are enabled automatically. Product cards link shoppers to the WooCommerce product page to choose options and add items; administrator and autonomous write access are not enabled.

One WordPress plugin

Embed and WordPress capabilities together.

The recommended plugin includes the branded widget, signed-in customer identity, a built-in MCP server, WooCommerce product cards and cart handoff, and an extension API for custom server-side abilities.

Unified WordPress plugin

Sign in from the plugin, choose the bot for the site, and approve the connection. SimpleBot configures WordPress and WooCommerce access without copied credentials. Shoppers see product images, names, prices, and availability, then open the product page to choose options and add an item. SimpleBot can also show their current cart with View cart and Checkout links.

HTML embed for other websites

Use the HTML script under Embed Bot → Other website platforms when the host does not run WordPress and provides a trusted site-wide custom-code area.

Developer: Entheo AI. Custom ability code executes on the customer’s WordPress server. WordPress passwords and server credentials never enter visitor JavaScript.

Before launch

Test the full customer path.

Confirm the widget opens, answers match the approved knowledge, conversation starters and contextual replies make sense, personal questions fail closed without authentication, and contact or booking submissions reach the intended destination.
